Why NMRA Registration Matters

To legally sell imported skincare and beauty products in Sri Lanka, each product must be individually registered with the NMRA. This involves a strict and detailed review process including:

  • Submission of full ingredient lists and formulation documentation

  • Providing a Certificate of Analysis (COA) 

  • Obtaining brand certification from the Sri Lankan Embassy in South Korea to confirm authenticity.

  • Evaluation of labels, usage instructions, claims, and packaging compliance.

  • Random sample testing and cross-checking during the approval stage
