Matte Sun Stick was developed with Ramón @glowbyramon, an influencer and cosmetic chemist, as the director. It was created after an extensive collaboration by meticulously going through all the processes that fall under BOJ's brand philosophy of Modern Hanbang skin care.
Most sun sticks are focused on use for outdoor activities, but BOJ wanted to bring out the usefulness of sun sticks in our daily lives in bustling cities as well. To get listed SPF and PA protection level, sunscreen should be reapplied every 2-3 hours, but that’s not easy to do all of the time. So, BOJ developed a sun stick with a matte formula that doesn't get clumpy and doesn't feel sticky or greasy even when reapplied several times over makeup.
Sebum-control silica powder regulates sebum to increase adherence and provides a matte and smooth finish without clumping. Containing artemisia capillaris and green tea extracts, it helps create smooth skin while maintaining moisture.

All Our Imports Are CIIS-Compliant
We import under the Compulsory Import Inspection Scheme (CIIS), which ensures that designated imported products are strictly monitored and tested for conformity with the Sri Lanka Standard Specifications (SLS). Under this scheme, a sample from each shipment we import is submitted to the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) for individual laboratory testing to verify compliance. This means every shipment is tested separately before approval.
The CIIS process is implemented based on Gazette Notification No. 2064/34 dated 29 March 2018, under the Imports and Exports Control Act No. 1 of 1969. Only after passing the tests does the Department of Sri Lanka Customs release the consignment—ensuring product quality, safety, and full legal compliance.
